Britain has sent an “incredibly powerful message” after MPs voted 274-12 in recognition of the State of Palestine on Monday, October 13.
That’s the view of North Ayrshire MP Katy Clark, who gave a speech in the House of Commons ahead of last week’s vote.
The Labour MP is now calling on the UK Government to formally recognise Palestine and insists the vote is more than a symbolic gesture.
